He published book one of the trilogy following the fortunes of the Pearce family, Pearces’ Ocean, in 2011 and is currently working on book two, Of Love and War. In between times he has written this adventure-­filled autobiography about growing up in England, building his own boats and sailing round the world several times. At the end of the book is a set of short stories and fables that give sharp insight into today’s society.
